Bachata Beginner with Mo & Ele
Join our beginner-friendly Bachata course and dive into the exciting rhythm of this beautiful dance. Bachata is a fun and engaging partner dance where traditional Dominican steps blend with the modern flair of Bachata Moderna and the smooth, flowing style of Bachata Sensual.
Here’s what you can expect:
Foundational Footwork & Essential Techniques:
Master the core Bachata steps and footwork, learning everything from basic steps and turns to key leading and following techniques to help you and your partner move smoothly together.
Partnerwork & Combinations:
We’ll teach you simple yet stylish partnerwork combinations, incorporating modern and sensual elements to give your dance an expressive edge.
No Partner Required:
You don’t need to bring a partner! We rotate partners throughout the class, giving you the chance to practice with different people, which helps you build confidence and enhance your leading or following skills.
Conducted in English:
This course is taught entirely in English, making it perfect for anyone who wants to learn to dance but finds it challenging to follow German-speaking courses.
Come dance with us and discover how fun learning Bachata can be! No previous dance experience is required, just bring your enthusiasm and love for music! By the end of the course, you’ll be ready to hit the dance floor with confidence and style.
It is possible to register for the course in pairs as well as individually!
When registering in pairs, BOTH participants are always registered on one form, but only ONE participant is charged for BOTH. The fee shown below is only valid for one participant!
The course is organised in cooperation with Ballhaus Goldfisch e.V. e.V.. It is therefore possible that dancers from Ballhaus will also take part. There is no further insurance cover for these courses via the University of Greifswald's University Sports Centre.
